Woodland Learning is very excited to be offering a new Forest School Leadership Level 3 qualification in partnership with Open College Network West Midlands.  The training, practice and portfolio building leading to the qualification will give participants the skills needed to set up and run their own Forest School and start their own Forest School journey to inspire and enrich the lives of others.  The training course immerses participants in the wonderful Forest School experience as much as possible by running most of the sessions outside in beautiful woodlands.

The course will take place at the much loved Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury.  The base for the outdoor learning will be the fantastic barn in Silk Wood. The design is that of a mediaeval cruck-frame barn and the materials were all sourced from Westonbirt Arboretum when it was built in 2008.  The obvious love that was put into developing the arboretum and that that is put into caring for it now is bound to rub off on Forest School trainees!  That course will take place in the summer holidays, 24th July to 28th July with further training and assessment in February 2018, 12th to the 16th.  There will also be a two day Forest School first aid course on August 25th and 26th.

The Forest School Leadership level 3 course costs £700.00.  The Forest School first aid course costs £150.
